Ftarri 7th Anniversary Vol. 3

Ftarri has released four CDs to commemorate the 7th anniversary (in August 2019) of the Ftarri shop in Suidobashi, Tokyo. This third CD is a solo album by Aoyama± (Aoyama Plus-Minus). Since 2018, Aoyama± has been playing an instrument called a catabolized guitar, an original modified instrument that he made by "changing the internal circuit wiring and transplanting or mixing electronic boards from other devices" on a Casio Digital Guitar sold in the 1980s.

This album contains three tracks 11 to 15 minutes long, recorded in his home studio in June 2019. The pieces differ greatly in style. The rich expressiveness of the eccentric and fascinating modified instrument captivates the listener. In creating these three very different works, Aoyama± displayed his superb musical artistry.

東京、水道橋の Ftarri ショップ開業７周年 (2019年８月) を記念して、４枚のCDをリリース。本作はその第三弾で、Aoyama± (アオヤマ・プラスマイナス) のソロ・アルバム。

Aoyama± は2018年から、catabolized guitar と称する楽器を使用し演奏活動をおこなっている。catabolized guitar とは、1980年代に販売された Casio Digital Guitar の「内部の配線を変更し、別の機器から回路基板を移植 / 混合」などして自作した改造電子楽器。本アルバムには、2019年６月に自宅スタジオで録音した11～15分の３曲を収録。曲によって趣が大きく異なり、この風変わりで興味津々の改造楽器が持つ豊かな表現力に魅了される。この楽器から、それぞれに違いを持たせた３つの曲を制作した Aoyama± の構成力も見事。
